Southern Star Aviation is seeking a FAA licensed Airframe & Power Plant Mechanic experienced in General Aviation aircraft from small single engine to light twin engine aircraft. Turbine/jet experience is a plus. Ideal candidate must have have an eye for confirming quality work is performed and will be a self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair problems on their own. Should have general hand tools to perform aircraft maintenance. Salary will be based on experience/skill level.
Southern Star Aviation is a full service Fixed Base Operator/Aircraft Maintenance Facility based at the Mid-Way Regional Airport (KJWY) in Midlothian, Texas. Our sister company is NOVA Avionics, an FAA Certified Repair Station.
