Position Summary

The Fleet Services Coordinator is a customer service and team-support role based at Bedford/Hanscom Field. The FSCs key deliverables are to ensure the three aircraft fleet are presentation-ready for all scheduled flights, managing office readiness including administrative functions, oversight of the aircraft commissary and coordinating service logistics with the Lead Captain and Pilots that will lead to a successful flight experience for the passengers. This position is extremely detailed oriented, and the candidate must be self-motivated, with a strong work ethic, and will not require daily supervision and oversight. The position is full-time and will require flextime of approximately 40 hours per week, with many early morning and late evening hours.

Main Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with vendors serving the needs of the flight department to ensure quality and on-time service.
  • Assist in coordinating trip logistics when needed including booking ground transportation, catering and crew hotel rooms.
  • Ensure specific passenger-preferences are on board for all departures.
  • Manage the commissary stock inventory to ensure ready access to passenger preferences and essential provisions.
  • Compute weekly operational reports in support of the flight crew and client.

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
