Our Manual Machine Opertors (MMO)...

Set up and operate various equipment used in performing machining operations such as drilling, tapping, milling, broaching, tap removal and grinding on a variety of materials.
Receives instruction and work assignments from Process Supervisor or Self-Directed Work Team.
Handles material to and from work area, using jib or overhead cranes or other material handling equipment, as required.
Refers to work instructions, sketches, manuals, books, charts, military specifications and process sheets.
Performs checks and/or adjustments to processes as required to maintain tolerances.
Performs deburring operations with an assortment of tools.
Performs checks on equipment to maintain efficient and safe operations and reports any deficiencies.
Keeps work area safe and clean.

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Candidates must be graduates or currently enrolled students at Machinists Career College.

Candidate must possess...

High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in a manufacturing environment or technical hands on role
High mechanical aptitude
Above average attention to detail

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Fabrication experience specifically with drilling, tapping, cutting, and/or milling

Pay Information
This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
