PRIMARY FUNCTION

Monitor the manufacturing processes and operations and conduct inspections of a broad range of fabrications, subassemblies, assemblies, component parts, purchased material and tooling to assure compliance with customer and NG specifications and standards where procedures and techniques are normally established.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a receiving inspection or mechanical inspection role.

Extensive knowledge, understanding, and application of engineering drawings/blueprints, GD&T, parts list, and material specs (Mil-spec, ASTM, AMS etc.)

Ability and experience using various handheld (manual and auto) inspection tools.

Extensive knowledge of quality processes, problem-solving, and writing nonconforming parts.

Ability to complete basic shop math equations and problem-solving.

High school diploma/GED

Must have fluent reading and writing in English.

Must be a US citizen.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Setup and operate CMM and/or Faro arm.

SAP Knowledge

Review and verify incoming purchase orders, parts, materials and related documentation received are in compliance with established specifications and standards.

Understanding and knowledge of verifying chemical and mechanical properties of the materials heat report.
