Job Description:- Loads, unloads, and conveys materials within or near plant, yard, or work site, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.
- Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand
- Loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
- Conveys materials using wheelbarrow, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids machine operators by lifting heavy objects by hand or by use of power hoist.
- Performs transactions in material management system to reflect movements of material.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma and 5 years relevant Warehouse/ Logistic experience
• Candidate must have demonstrated proficiency operating forklifts.
• Candidate must be able to work independently to rigorous deadlines with minimal supervision
• Minimum of 2 years experience with SAP
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Experience in computers and computer processes.
Experience Preferred:
• Experience working in the Defense industry
• Experience working under the safety and security requirements of a secure facility.
• Working knowledge of FAR/DFAR
Experience working with 5S
Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
