Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Haverhill is a world-class manufacturer of precision machined aerospace components. We have an exciting opportunity for a Co-op student. Co-op Students will develop a full understanding of a Manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate competency in carrying all duties associated with Manufacturing Aerospace components.

Essential Responsibilities

• Quality is one key attributes of our company, as a co-op you will learn various inspections and measuring methods to ensure the highest level of quality for our customers.
• Operating machines in area assigned after set up by area supervisor, lead while performing duties with a mentor.
• Ability to interpret customer blueprints and specifications.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and compliance with AS9100 and ISO9001 requirements.
• Will learn to understand routers, BOMS and fixed process control.
• The following areas you will train in:
  • Assembly
  • Marking
  • Masker/Paint
  • Final Inspection, Mechanical Inspection and CMM
  • CNC Machining
  • Bench
  • Manual Machines
  • Expeditors

Position Requirements

• Eligible students must be currently enrolled in the school year of the assignment.
