Job Title: Fabricator
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Fabricator to perform various fabrication tasks with general supervision. This role involves ensuring proper part identification and record-keeping for plastics and windows, performing 1st piece inspections, operating various machines, and assisting with extensive technical assembly operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication tasks with general supervision
- Ensure proper part identification and record S/N for plastics and windows manufactured with limited assistance
- Perform 1st piece inspection with general supervision
- Operate various machines in the fabrication department, including vacuum machines and ovens with assistance
- Operate forklifts as required
- Assist with the fabrication of High Visibility Doors, testing Rescue Hoist, assembling Emergency Float Kits, and other extensive technical assembly operations beyond normal assembly tasks
Essential Skills- Metal fabrication
- Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Operating hand and power tools
- Harness assembly
- Avionics systems installation
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 2+ years of experience with fabrication, sawing, sanding, trimming, routing, cleaning, and bonding
- Ability to interpret blueprints and manufacturer drawings

Work Environment
Work in a Hangar/Customization/Completion Center from 6AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday. The dress code allows for jeans, work pants, and decent shorts in the summer, with closed-toe shoes (no steel-toed required).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Piney Flats, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.50
