Job Description

Work with an assembly team in multiple sections. Utilize gages, calipers, and soldering irons to build PCB boards. Ensure there is no dust or particles in PCBs. You will be building circuit boards, cameras, flexes, and other sensitive electrical systems. Additionally, work with software and upload on smartphones as part of the controller for viewing purposes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small, complex mechanical components.
• Utilize soldering skills (or willingness to learn).
• Follow assembly documentation and execute verbal/written instructions with consistency and accuracy.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Maintain clean and orderly workstations/production areas.
• Communicate ideas and problems effectively to technicians and engineers.

• Experience in assembling hardware products.
• Prior experience in electronics manufacturing.
• IT or manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency with hand tools, assembly line operations, and PCB assembly.

• Experience with NPI (New Product Introduction) production.
• Skills in assembly repair, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with circuit board and electromechanical assembly.
• Prior experience with circuit boards, cameras, flexes, or other sensitive electrical systems.
• Ability to execute tests with specialized fixtures and equipment.
• Skills in troubleshooting and reworking electronics or other complex mechanical assemblies.
• Experience operating precision measuring equipment.
• Trainable, coachable, and reliable with a positive approach to feedback.
• Interest and passion in world-class drone manufacturing.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayward, California.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
