Your Role & Impact:
As a Buyer, you’ll play a key role in managing the purchasing and procurement processes for materials, equipment, and supplies. Your expertise will ensure that we secure the best possible deals, maintain strong supplier relationships, and help streamline purchasing strategies to optimize costs. From negotiating contracts to evaluating vendor quotes, your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies by identifying the best suppliers and negotiating favorable terms.
Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most suitable options for the company’s needs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure the best deals, timely deliveries, and quality products.
Collaborate with other departments to understand procurement needs and maintain optimal inventory levels.
Utilize procurement software and tools to track and manage orders, ensuring accurate documentation and timely order fulfillment.
Monitor spending and identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic purchasing decisions.
Follow pre-established guidelines and report to supervisors or managers, while working under direct supervision.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Knowledge of buying strategies, supplier relations, and cost control.
Proficient in procurement software and tools, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP experience.
Planning experience.
Background in aerospace.
Familiarity with Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory systems.
Bachelors or advanced degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Commitment to continuous learning and self-development.

Pay Details: $33.33 per hour
