Aircraft Part Store Liaison (APS) is an integral part of a small Pratt & Whitney Team embedded within the USAF operations at Nellis AFB. This role will act as a supply/inventory liaison for the F119 program, providing on-site contractor technical services as they pertain to supply/inventory issues in support of the F119 Material Management team and will be responsible for coordinating all inbound and outbound engine hardware for Nellis based F119 engines. Additionally, backup duty for F119 Support Equipment (SE) tool management in a supporting role is required.
What Will You Do
Act as the focal point for F119 issues requiring contractor intervention/assistance within the APS, Base Supply, regional supply center, central inventory and item manager structure.
Advise and assist government supply sections with day-to-day F119 supply/inventory issues as required using Air Force Integrated Logistics System – Supply (ILS-S) and other Air Force and Pratt & Whitney supply systems
Assist government supply personnel by working with the F119 Materials Management group in obtaining common items, satisfying peculiar Mission Capability (MICAP) requirements for the F119 engines and identification/resolution of configuration issues should they arise.
Follow up on Redistribution Order (RDO) directions/authorizations for F119-peculiar assets as required and ensuring the transactions and material movement takes place and arrives at the gaining activity.
Assist in the monitoring and management of Mission Readiness Spares Package (MRSP) assets in support of F119 requirements
This position is located at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. This is a second shift position, but selected candidate must be willing to work first shift if needed.
Willingness to work weekends and alternative shifts occasionally to support business needs
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree
2 years of logistics chain experience or 6 years of logistics chain experience "in lieu of" degree
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools
Must be capable of lifting 25 pounds unassisted in accordance with Company policies
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Standard Base Supply System and an understanding and knowledge of Air Force Materiel Management Regulations and USAF retail supply procedures to include use of standard supply reports and listings to control and track supply transactions.
Experience with Air Force equipment management and tool control procedures is highly desired.
Experience with F-22/F119 engine, its support systems, and use of TOD particularly around Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul gas-turbine engine facility experience
Project management experience
Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
