STS Technical Services is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join our team in Hagerstown, Maryland. In this role, you will act as a Finance business partner to the Sales teams, providing essential accounting and finance services to support business objectives. Key responsibilities include financial statement preparation, monthly analysis, forecasting, and managing business transactions. You will also lead process improvement initiatives, mentor junior analysts, and ensure compliance with corporate policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to drive business growth and prepare monthly financial results.
- Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and capital allocation plans.
- Partner with management to enhance profitability through pricing strategies and cost efficiency.
- Oversee monthly close processes, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Mentor Associate Financial Analysts and manage business systems and procedures.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and update Sarbanes-Oxley documentation.
- Monitor key operational metrics and develop improvement plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Six or more years of experience in accounting, finance, or treasury.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two or more years in a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of U.S. and international accounting regulations.
