Job Description

Wyman Gordon is seeking an Accounting Analyst to work at the Mountain Top, PA, facility. The Accounting Analyst position will be responsible for financial reporting, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable tasks. Other responsibilities and requests may be asked of this position. This position offers a great opportunity for someone to learn and grow with the accounting team.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with month end close by executing journal entries consist with company policy
Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Assist Controller, and accounting team, with ad hoc requests for analysis and projects
Assist and lead Accounts Payable activities such as invoice entry and payment preparation
Assist with Accounts Receivable activities by applying cash in the system and emailing customers open invoice statements
Support plant Sarbanes Oxley goals and perform accounting tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures
Inventory Costing and Analysis
Learn the company’s approach to internal controls and apply it in practice
Assist with Internal Control and Sarbanes Oxley audits

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Approximately two years of accounting experience in a high-performing environment (manufacturing or publicly traded company is a plus)
Experience with Oracle is preferred
CPA, CMA, and MBA is a plus
Attention to detail and committed to high work quality
Ability to think strategically, see bigger picture, and adapt to changing environment
Experience with internal controls and/or Sarbanes Oxley is preferred
