In order to support the Excellence and Technology, Finance and Controlling department, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of an AD Research and Innovation finance controller. Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Excellence and Technology, Finance and Controlling department as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week! 

• Location: Taufkirchen/Ottobrunn
• Start: 01.09.2024
• Duration: 12 months with the opportunity of prolongation

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company&39;s premises. A working student&39;s main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Support to the finance and innovation business partners on cost base budgeting and controlling: 

• Local Cost center management activities 

• Actuals versus budget analysis and reporting, 

• Workload/workforce analysis and Operating planning support

• Support to R&T and innovation internal projects financial controlling: (Set up and opening of project WBS and budget release, project monitoring, analysis and reporting, monthly closing activities etc..)

• Support to external R&T co-funded projects financial controlling: (Bid costing&43;pricing Support to offer submission, Set up and opening of project WBS, Project controlling..)

• Support to business Case creation/financial modeling

• FInancial analysis ad-hoc on different topics related to R&T and innovation

• Support to management in several activities related to reporting, knowledge management, communication, training, teamwork dynamics, etc..

• Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of economics, finance, engineering or an equivalent field of study.

• Fluent in German and English.

• Advanced google and Advanced excel knowledge (google looker studio, excel pivot tables etc..)
