GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is an aerospace staffing company specializing in temporary and permanent staffing for general and technical positions in the aviation and aerospace industry.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Supplier Development Engineer to join our team at Quest Global, a leading company in the Aerospace and Defense industry. As a Supplier Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our supply chain.

 

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with suppliers to develop and maintain strong relationships, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of any issues.

- Conduct regular supplier audits to assess their capabilities, performance, and adherence to quality standards.

- Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain and work closely with suppliers to implement corrective actions.

- Monitor supplier performance metrics and provide feedback to management on supplier quality and delivery performance.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supplier development strategies.

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in supplier development and incorporate them into our processes.

 

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Supplier Development Engineer or in a similar role within the Aerospace and Defense industry.

- Strong knowledge of supplier management principles and practices.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

- Proficient in using supplier management software and tools.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
