Site Overview
Established in 2000, the John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru is our multidisciplinary research and engineering center. Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing.
Role Overview:
- Design, develop, and implement custom Teamcenter PLM solutions to support Model-Based Digital Thread and MBSE initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements related to digital thread and MBSE.
- Customize and configure Teamcenter to align with business processes and MBSE methodologies.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Teamcenter and other enterprise applications, including CAD/CAE tools.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Teamcenter and MBSE implementations.
- Ensure the quality and performance of PLM solutions through testing and validation.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in PLM, digital thread, and MBSE technologies.
- Document technical specifications, user guides, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
The Ideal Candidate
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Teamcenter PLM development and implementation.
- Proficiency in Siemens Teamcenter, including customization, configuration, and integration.
- Proficiency in Active Workspace Customization
- Strong understanding of Model-Based Digital Thread and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and methodologies.
- Programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, or .NET.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Familiarity with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript), Cloud technologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Certification in Siemens Teamcenter or related technologies.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAE tools and their integration with Teamcenter.
- Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly understand new concepts and analyze system deficiencies
