Essential Responsibilities
Prioritize and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects, alone or as part of a cross-functional team, to increase customer satisfaction and business productivity
Analyze manufacturing and service limitations, then develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance process sampling systems, procedures, and statistical techniques to monitor the progress of improvement efforts
Oversee test equipment evaluation, precision measurements, accuracy measurements, and performance tests
Work with the materials review committee to dispose of non-compliant material and devise corrective actions
Collaborate with the new product development team to approve new suppliers of materials/services used in the creation of the product
Collaborate with Support Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve quality issues related to existing suppliers
Collect, organize, monitor and distribute information for the Company and customers/suppliers relating to product quality and process improvement
Provide quality advanced engineering for new product introductions involving new processes or advanced automated equipment
Act as a consultant (as a recognized authority) to quality, manufacturing and engineering organizations to improve quality and manufacturing processes, introduce new products and improve product design
Measure and analyze quality KPIs (quarantine, DPU, FTY, losses...) to define improvement projects
Qualifications/Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Industrial or Materials Engineering or Degree in Chemistry
Fluent knowledge of English and Italian
Ability to read the technical drawing and its specifications
Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, define and implement corrective actions
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Work visa in accordance with local regulations
