YOUR ROLE AS:
Aircraft Maintenance Oversight Executive is responsible for coordinating and supervising the entire process of aircraft hangar visits at MRO facilities. This role ensures that the highest quality and standards are maintained by the MRO provider while delivering a serviceable aircraft as per schedule.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
Liaise with CAMO Engineering departments to resolve issues during aircraft visits, such as spares, modifications, and repair schemes.
Actively engage with MRO key personnel to stay updated on capabilities and resources.
Attend MRO meetings, including pre-input, progress, and KPI reviews, providing feedback and highlighting concerns.
Update engineering departments on MRO issues during daily morning meetings.
Verify and approve "over and above" work orders by MRO, ensuring justified man-hours.
Analyze operational data to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements to MRO providers.
Monitor MRO efficiency in utilizing manpower and materials.
Gather data and documentation as evidence in case of disputes or conflicts.
Ensure maintenance practices and workshop support comply with high industry standards.
Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Planning Manager.
WHO YOU ARE:
Possess strong personal traits: friendly, mature, humble, honest, meticulous, and a self-starter.
Able to work under pressure in a challenging environment.
Proficient in oral and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion when dealing with sensitive matters.
Capable of mentoring and training new trainees.
Confident in both theoretical knowledge and practical demonstrations.
Highly committed, dedicated, and independent with good work ethics.
Comfortable working in a diverse environment.
Willing to travel as required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Minimum Work Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in Continuing Airworthiness Management.
Comprehensive knowledge of regulations and standards applicable to aircraft airworthiness (Part M, Part 145, CAAM CAD, etc.).
Education & Professional Qualifications:
Possession of an Aircraft Maintenance License (AML).
Formal aeronautical maintenance training.
Mandatory and recurrent training as required by regulations.
