We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Licensed Aircraft Engineer to support routine aircraft maintenance and servicing activities while ensuring full compliance with manufacturer requirements and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining aircraft airworthiness, minimizing operational disruptions, and ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with approved procedures
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine aircraft maintenance and servicing activities in line with manufacturer and safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with approved technical documentation and latest maintenance revisions
• Conduct troubleshooting, component replacement, and defect rectification activities efficiently
• Manage aircraft arrivals and departures to maximize ground-time opportunities and reduce operational delays
• Ensure tools, equipment, and resources are serviceable and appropriately utilized
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention practices
• Support cost optimization through effective spares handling and maintenance planning
• Complete and maintain accurate maintenance reports and technical documentation
• Coach, mentor, and support junior engineers and trainees
• Participate in training programs and maintain required approvals and certifications
• Support operational requirements, including AOG recovery, outstation assignments, and additional operational duties when required
QualificationRequirements
• National/Higher National Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent aviation training
• UAE GCAA / ICAO Type II / JAR 66 License with type rating in at least two Emirates aircraft types
• Minimum 5 years of certifying experience within an aviation maintenance environment as a licensed engineer
• Strong understanding of aircraft legislation, aviation maintenance standards, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in safety-sensitive environments and adapt to operational requirements
• Airport driving permit and willingness to travel or support operational deployments when required
