Job Description:

The Engineering Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for bridging technical execution with localized revenue growth. This position will oversee facility projects designed to optimize operations and drive profitability. This position requires a proactive leader who thrives in collaborative environments, representing the engineering department at both onsite and offsite corporate meetings to influence business-critical decisions and project scaling. The Engineering Manager will report directly to the Director of Engineering and will lead a team of direct reports.

 What you will be responsible for: 

  • Attend and contribute to onsite and offsite corporate meetings, ensuring engineering facility projects are aligned with the companys strategic vision and revenue goals.
  • Lead the planning and execution of facility-based engineering projects, focusing on infrastructure improvements that directly enhance operations throughout. 
  • Take ownership of engineering initiatives specifically targeted to generate or support 3-5 percent in annual revenue growth. 
  • Provide direct supervision and mentorship to a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring high performance and professional development. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during facility upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing business operations. 
  • Manage project budgets and resource allocation to ensure facility improvements are delivered on time and within financial parameters 

     

 

Job Requirements:

What you will need to be successful in this role: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or related field). 
  • Minimum Five years of engineering experience, including a minimum of eighteen months in a supervisory or lead role. 
  • Proven track record of managing projects or initiatives that have contributed to revenue targets 
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate technical facility requirements into business outcomes during corporate off sites 
  • Ability to travel to various facility locations both local and abroad as needed. 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage facility projects that balance technical constraints with aggressive growth timelines.
