Our expectations:
Under Group Leader supervision, the trainee will be asked to create or revise detail and assembly drawings in 2D or 3D.
What your day to day will look like?
- Work in collaboration with the Design, Analytical and Manufacturing departments
- Define the final product for Turbine, Mechanical, Compressors, Combustion and External Components modules
- Support engine production in the Product Center Engineering Component Modules.
More details will be provided during the interview.
What you need to be successful:
Must haves:
- Be eligible to work in Canada;
- Be enrolled in a Canadian college or university throughout your internship;
- Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired
- Pursuing a degree in a relevant field - Mechanical Design and Drafting, Mechanical Aerospace Engineering Technology.
- Have knowledge of CATIA V5 (or similar CAD software);
- Be developing his ability to define parts in 2D and 3D;
- Be developing his applied mathematical skills (esp. for tolerance stack-up calculations);
- Be industrious, self-motivated;
- Be methodical;
- Enjoy working in a team-based environment;
Work Environment
On-Site: Please note that this internship is to be on-site 5 days a week.
