Job Description:

European Test Services (ETS) B.V. is a subsidiary of Airbus Defense and Spaceand performing tests as well as maintenances services at the ESA/ESTEC site in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. ETS operates a complete set of environmental test facilities. ETS offers mechanical, acoustic, thermal and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) test services to the European industry, allowing validation of systems and equipment prior to operational implementation. The ETS Quality Management System (QMS) is certified regarding the requirements of ISO9001, EN9100 and ECSS-Q-ST-20-07.

In order to support the ETS Infrastructure, Quality and Safety domain, we are looking for a &34;Quality Assurance Engineer&34; for an unlimited period of time Dutch contract at ETS in Noordwijk, The Netherlands.

LOCATION : NOORDWIJK, THE NETHERLANDS

WORKING TASKS and RESPONSABILITIES

• Contribute to all activities related to the Quality and Safety process.
• Actively promote and support the monitoring and improvement of processes within the Test Centre.
• Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance and Safety documentation including the QA manual.
• Monitor the correct implementation of customer requirement for all activities carried out in the Test Centre.
• Operate the non-conformance control system including chairing Non-conformance Review Boards (NRB).
• Prepare, perform, report and follow-up internal/external audits and safety inspections.
• Organize and chair Facility Readiness Reviews (FRR) and other test reviews.
• Organize and chair Safety Review Boards (SRB) and follow up mitigation actions
• Contribute to the ETS risks assessment and mitigation.
• Interface with customer Product Assurance (PA) and Safety representatives to ensure the implementation of customer requirements.
• Co-Administration of QA related software tools
• Coordinate, prepare and follow-up Configuration Change Board (CCB) meetings
• Lead the Configuration Management Organization (CMO)
• Report to the ETS Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) and act as his deputy.

EDUCATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

The holder of this post should have:

• A university degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or technical sciences (master level).
• Experience in the implementation of management systems in compliance with Quality and safety standards such as ISO9001, EN9100, OHSAS 18001.
• Experience in Product Assurance or Quality Assurance in the European space industry, and knowledge of relevant ESA standards (ECSS) is an asset.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
• Good organisation and communications skills, a proactive attitude to solving problems.
