The EEMC Repair Process Engineer is responsible to provide support and technical leadership on maintaining current and develop future repair capabilities for the maintenance of Aircraft Engine components. The position requires to demonstrate leadership ability by ensuring repair processes meet quality and regulatory requirements, as well as operational objective. 

In this role, you will:



  • Responsible for repair engineering and associated repair processes to ensure business continuity in the new EEMC repair line. This includes, coordinating with Production Teams on the technical operation of repair equipment, understanding maintenance data and authoring Repair Task cards, analysing equipment breakdowns, forecasting spare parts, providing feedback, and maintaining constant communication with engine and equipment manufacturers.




  • Drive resolution of operational and technical challenges faced by the production teams, through managing and directing day-to-day business repair processes, with a focus on ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of newly developed repairs.




  • Responsible for preparing and controlling all the required documents applicable to the repair process area as per EK internal procedures.




  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the Repair routers / Process Sheet, consumables and Equipment related to repair process as define in Engine Manual requirements.




  • Responsible for undertaking the necessary corrective and preventive actions resulting from quality non-compliance monitoring and audit program.




  • Initiates, identifies, recommends, and leads projects in the area of responsibility to improve product safety, quality, and cost.




  • Leads initiatives and ensure collaboration with production and repair teams to perform troubleshooting activities, projects improvement, and problem-solving events and resolve equipment/downtime issues.




  • Responsible for the development of new repair capabilities with OEM by direct involvement in initial stage of repair process analysis, cost impact, and investment required.




  • Leads workshops with cross-functional team for NPI (New Process Introduction) and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).


Job Requirements:

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace / Mechanical / Manufacturing or Material Science Engineering, and/or holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence for 5 years.


Experience: Engineering / Mechanical: 10+ Years




  • 10 years overall experience of which a minimum of 7 years experience in areas related to Manufacturing / MRO industry. 




  • Experience preferably in a Part 145 organization or, AS9100 or ISO 9001 organization.




  • Preferred Aviation Industry experience. Non-Aviation industry can also be considered.




  • Essential (Must Have) theoretical and practical knowledge / experience in Painting, Blasting, Machining, Thermal Spray and/or Shot Peening process. 




  • Added advantage to have knowledge in chemical Etching processes, Metal cleaning, Ultrasonic cleaning, Welding and Waterjet stripping. 




  • Prior experience in area of R&D or New Process Introduction Initiatives.




  • Solid critical thinking skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues, and propose solutions to stakeholders).




  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions.




  • Demonstrated ability to utilize Route Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) to identify and analyse problems.




  • Excellent drafting / report writing skills.




  • Demonstrable experience in managing complex tasks and decision making in a fast-paced environment.
