▪Assist the Manger Engineering in the establishment ofstandards and the issuance of specificationsfor the overhaul, maintenance and safe operation of the company’s aircraft, componentsand test equipment.
▪Assist the Manger Engineering to evaluate performanceand problems related to the company’s aircraftand its related equipment, and provide the necessary guidance for unusualtechnical problems.
▪Review Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins,In-Service Activity Reports, Incident Reports and other similar documents andinitiate company action, as necessary.
▪Assist the Manger Engineering in the management of theengine shop visit maintenance
program to facilitate and maintain a safe andcost-effective operation.
▪Maintain a high level of professionalism, productivityand discipline in all staff under his/her direction.
▪Assist the Manger Engineering respond to qualitydeficiencies in the area of activity for which he/she isresponsible, that may arise from independent quality audits.
▪Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of aircraft engineeringdevelopments in the industry, relative to the company,and make recommendations as necessary to maintain an efficient and economicoperation.
Requirements▪Mustpossess a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s License without type ratingissued by the CAA CI or a licensing authority specified inOTAR Part 66.51.
▪Must bethe holder of or previously held full certifying authority B737-NG or B737-MAX aircraftin either the A & C or Avionics category, orsimilar aircraft.
▪Bachelor’sdegree in Aeronautical Science/Engineering or a minimum of 10 years ofexperience as an approved engineer on the B737-300/800/8 orsimilar aircraft, with at least 4 years in a management capacity.
▪Must havea minimum of three (3) years working as a Development Engineer at anotherairline or CAMO.
▪DevelopmentEngineering experience with the CFM LEAP engine will also be an asset.
▪Must beproficient in Microsoft Office applications.
