Morson Talent is Hiring: B1.3 Licensed Engineer – Turbine Rotorcraft

Contract Type: Full-Time, Ongoing
Clearance Required: BPSS+ initially, with SC clearance to be completed onsite
Are you an experienced B1.3 Licensed Engineer with a background in turbine rotorcraft? We have an exciting opportunity for you at one of Britain’s leading helicopter hubs. This role involves the certification of line, non-routine maintenance, and repair on rotorcraft, with type training provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering operational support to Flight Operations.
- Perform maintenance inspections, repairs, and aircraft certification as directed by the LAE Supervisor.
- Lead teams to ensure safe aircraft operation, including maintenance of airframe structures, power plants, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Replace avionic line-replaceable units and supervise mechanical fitters, certifying their work.
- Conduct off-aircraft mechanical, power plant, and component work in workshops as needed.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the hangar, including aircraft movement and housekeeping.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft)
- In-depth knowledge of engine and airframe systems, specialised test equipment, and CAA regulations (Part 145, Part M, UK ANOs)
- Experience in Continued Airworthiness Management, Flight/Airport Operations, and Aircraft Line Maintenance
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a certifying role
Desirable Qualifications & Skills:
- Type Rating and experience on H135, H145
- Knowledge of UK Military Aviation and UK MFTS
- Experience with SAP and ERP software
- Familiarity with Airbus Helicopters products and military aviation experience is a plus
Clearance Requirements:
- BPSS+ clearance is required initially, with SC clearance to be completed once onsite.

- One-month reciprocal notice period
