What you will do:

  • Perform thorough inspections and maintenance on aircraft systems to ensure optimal functionality and safety. Conduct necessary repairs and testing to meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Efficiently remove and replace faulty or worn-out units and components to maintain aircraft performance and reliability.
  • Safely manage aircraft movements and towing operations, ensuring precise handling and positioning of aircraft within the hangar and on the ramp.
  • Execute various ramp duties, including marshalling, fueling, and loading/unloading cargo, as necessary to support flight operations.
  • Keep all tools and equipment in good working condition, performing routine checks and maintenance to ensure they are always ready for use.
  • Assist with tasks and responsibilities as directed, gaining valuable hands-on experience and knowledge in aircraft maintenance.
  • Perform essential flight line servicing operations, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, to ensure aircraft are ready for safe and efficient operation.
  • Provide assistance to licensed AMEs in various maintenance tasks, working collaboratively to ensure high standards of maintenance and safety.
  • Regularly inspect the workplace for hazards, ensuring a clean and safe environment. Participate in clean-up operations to maintain order and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance on ground equipment to ensure it is in good working order, supporting overall operations.
  • Work in compliance with all Administrative, Health & Safety policies and procedures as per legislative requirements and as outlined in Company policies.


What you bring:

  • Must possess a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma (or equivalence)
  • Highly self-motivated individual with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Solid, effective oral and written communication skills
  • Proven experience as a collaborator and strong desire to build trust and relationships 
  • Knowledge of aerospace design and maintenance practices
  • Must be able to lift 100lbs. Working at heights. Ability to climb, and work in tight/confined spaces. Standing on feet, limited sitting through shifts except for breaks.
  • Ability to follow instructions and problem-solving

  • Strong capacity to learn, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines


Other Requirements

  • Must qualify for a RAAC and AVOP passes
  • Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driver abstract
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends and shiftwork based on workload schedules with short notice at times
  • Occasional travel may be required
