What you will do:

  • Maintain aircraft in accordance with all Manufacturers and Company recommendations and regulations
  • Inspect, assess, and assist in repairs and modifications to aircraft structures, systems, and equipment
  • Dismantle and assemble aircraft systems for repair and overhaul
  • Troubleshoot aircraft defects and carry out corrective action
  • Remove, install, and functionally test aircraft components
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are controlled on aircraft that are receiving maintenance within the company’s facilities and ensure that all technical records are originated and retained with respect to all inspections and maintenance functions
  • Complete records of work done to sustain an accurate record system
  • Perform work in accordance with all Transport Canada guidelines
  • Ensure that approved equipment and materials are utilized and a high standard of workmanship is maintained
  • Complete any special projects or other tasks as required or assigned. May be assigned to other areas of operations, based on business or customer requirements
  • Work in compliance with all Administrative, Health & Safety policies and procedures as per legislative requirements and as outlined in Company policies.


What you bring:

  • A valid Canadian AME M2 license
  • Experience in aircraft periodic inspections and heavy inspections
  • Must be able to read, understand and interpret technical publications, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical drawings and blueprints
  • Diagnostic skills requiring sound knowledge of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, aircraft structures and basic applied mechanics
  • Capable of performing hands-on duties such as disassembling aircraft systems, removal of defective components and installing replacement parts, components and structures
  • Experience performing a large variety of tasks relating to any aspects of aircraft maintenance
  • Highly self-motivated individual with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and problem-solving
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Adapt and learn new technologies quickly
  • Professional, ethical and committed to excellence
  • Strong capacity to learn, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Technical TC-approved aircraft type training on Chartright managed fleet is considered to be a highly desirable asset


Other Requirements

  • Must qualify for a RAAC and AVOP passes
  • Must possess a valid Ontario driver’s license with a clean driver abstract
  • Must be able to work overtime, weekends and shiftwork based on workload schedules with short notice at times
  • Occasional travel may be required
