Job Title: Repair Engineer (FAA)Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Repair Engineer to join our FAA Part 145 Repair Station. The successful candidate will be responsible for the research, design, and development of jet-engine component repairs. They will support market analysis, interface with OEM, overhaul facilities, customers, and operations personnel, and provide shop support in executing repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform research, design, and development of jet-engine component repairs.
- Support market analysis by matching new repair opportunities with shop capabilities.
- Design repairs from concept to production.
- Interface with OEM, overhaul facilities, customers, and operations personnel.
- Provide shop support in the execution of repairs and in general.
- Develop tooling concepts for specific repairs.
- Generate process routers.
- Develop first article packages for part approvals.
- Develop technical relationships with customers.
- Support all shop operations.
- Work with Quality in investigating discrepancies and escapes.
- Support Sourcing with Supplier visits and evaluations (heat treat, machining, thermal spray).
Essential Skills- Experience with Turbine Engine overhaul and maintenance manuals.
- Ability to read, interpret, and create SOPs and manuals.
- Understanding of shop machinery, tools, and their capabilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- FAA Repair Station experience.
- Aircraft Structural repair experience.
- Familiarity with AS9100 / FAR 145 standards.
- A&P Licenses.

Work Environment
You will be working in an FAA 145 Repair and Overhaul station that supports the GE F-110 Engine overhaul program, mainly used in F15 & F16 aircrafts. The R&O facility will most likely be moving to Ohio within the next year. Note that the position requires willingness to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, Ohio.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $47.00/hr.
