We are looking for a New Technologies Introduction (NTI) and New Initiatives Systems Engineer to join our exciting and dynamic team of Systems Engineers within the Third Parties NPI Engineering Section. In this role you will lead and coordinate the whole engineering effort to collect and define new technologies needs with relevant plans and effort to support the External Customer’s business.

Essential Responsibilities
Create a plan and identify resource to complete all Design Phases and Program Gates in line with the NTI process achieving all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) goals
Lead and coordinate the engineering effort to support the cross functional team during the procurement, manufacturing and assembly phases . Contribute in performing the Program Risk Assessment providing the technical risk figures and supporting the team in properly allocating program contingency.
Develop/execute strategy and drive key deliverables and milestones to meet the overall objectives of the assigned research programs (such as new NPI supporting commercial team and Helo Ecosystem project linked with new technology validation and introduction) ensure the fulfillment of Engineering milestones on time, on cost, on quality; ensure fulfillment of Customer Technical Requirements and contractual agreements engineering wise;
Develop and maintain trusted relationships with Customer through on-going dialogue and effective technical communication. Collaborates with Customer, Regulatory Agencies, and partners to establish the best technical solutions.
Drive and Coordinate Development Prototypes Build and relevant Test Activities;
Monitor and report to Senior Leadership about project status and technical issues;
Ensure a rigorous process is followed in the execution of Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action of product and process issues;
Qualifications/Requirements
Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering Master Degree
Previous experience on a complex engineering systems
Good Attitude for interaction with multi-functional and multi-cultural teams
Good interpersonal, communication skills
Systemic mindset and problem solver
Fluent Italian and English Knowledge
Travel availability as required by the Business
Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of gearbox technical requirements, certification requirements, design solutions and technologies
Knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies
