Responsibilities
- Obtain all necessary information to perform job assignments and report any discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
- Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to perform point-to-point assembly, requiring wiring and soldering of large masses of wires in confined spaces.
- Perform wiring using harness boards to tie in cables and harnesses according to appropriate wiring diagrams.
- Conduct electrical/electronic and mechanical assembly tasks either independently or as part of an assembly team.
- Lay out and construct harness boards to assemble and form wiring and cables for various electrical/electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
- Mix and apply bonding components and encapsulate assemblies as required.
- Utilize a broad range of hand tools and assembly equipment to complete tasks.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of additional education and/or relevant experience for Level 2, and 6 years for Level 3 in assembly, electronics, manufacturing, production, or logistics.
- Minimum of 2 years (Level 2) or 5 years (Level 3) of experience in electrical assembly and wiring.
- Capability to complete certification to IPC WHMA-A-620 Cable and Wire Harness Assembly and NASA-J-STD.
- Experience in reading drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Exceptional mechanical/electrical aptitude, particularly for Level 3.
- Experience with Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) and crimping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Graduation from a Technical Trade School.
- Current certification to IPC WHMA-A-620, NASA-J-STD, or similar certifications in electronics assembly and workmanship.
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications, including workflow sign-off and documentation.

Work Environment
This is a 2nd Shift position with working hours from 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM on a 9/80 schedule. The role involves working in a professional atmosphere with ESD and FOD awareness. Regular use of soldering irons, tweezers, heat guns, and other common hand tools is required. The work environment is clean, orderly, and conducive to high-quality workmanship.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
