SkyBridge Aviation is seeking a skilled Avionics Troubleshooter with 3+ years of corporate/business jet avionics troubleshooting experience. This role requires an FAA A&P license and experience performing pitot-static testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining avionics systems, including navigation, communication, autopilot, and pitot-static systems, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and manufacturer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot avionics and electrical system issues on corporate/business jets.
- Perform pitot-static testing and transponder checks to ensure system accuracy and FAA compliance.
- Repair, modify, and install avionics components, including FMS, ADS-B, TCAS, SATCOM, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Conduct functional and operational tests on avionics systems to verify performance and airworthiness.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals to identify and resolve system discrepancies.
- Work closely with flight crews, maintenance teams, and engineers to resolve avionics issues efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on avionics and electrical systems.
- Accurately document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in avionics maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
