Avionics Technician

Avionics Technicians will be performing avionics troubleshooting, installs, repairs, maintenance, and modifications to the avionics and electrical systems for various models F/A-18 aircraft. Modifications will consist of upgrades to Radar Package, Communications / Comm Sec equipment, and possibly other upgrades. Additional electrical troubleshooting and repairs will be performed as required. This is a long term, open ended contract to hire position (full time employment) where candidates will be eligible to convert to full-time direct employees with 6 - 12 months or stay on contract indefinitely.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of Avionics Maintenance/Modification Expereince
• F/A-18 Aircraft Expereince highly desired - other fighter jet expereince may also be accepted
• Avionics Modification expereince highly desired but not required
• Avionics troubleshooting and installation expereince required

Work Site Location

This is a fully on-site position in San Antonio, Texas.

Work Environment

Must be open to 1st or 2nd shift. Working in hangar and some on flight line. Mostly inside/not exposed to elements, but is a non-climate controlled hangar.
