Job Description
Responsible for installing wiring and electronic systems related to C-Checks and VIP modifications of 787-9 aircraft. This includes completing basic wiring buildups, preparing and installing wiring kits, running wires, terminating, crimping, checking connectors, and testing with multimeters and voltmeters. The role involves working on large and complex VIP modifications of 787 aircraft, which includes removing passenger configurations, moving business class seats, installing large conference room and bedroom modules, and rewiring new systems. Occasionally, the aircraft may also be due for a C-Check.
Responsibilities
- Basic buildup and preparation of wiring and cables from mod kits and drawings (~10)
- Routing and installing wires and cabling on-aircraft, documenting/tagging/labeling, crimping, terminating, and testing (90)
Additional Skills & Qualifications- 4+ years of avionics installation and repair experience
- Preferred: Experience in VIP modifications, custom interiors, or completions environment
- Local to the area or region highly preferred
- Military experience acceptable
- Must be eligible for SIDA badge (proper IDs required)
- Own tools

Work Environment
Work in recently renovated hangars and offices at MWH. The building is owned and operated by the clients customer who engineers the modifications, but the large hangar space with two aircraft, storerooms, inventory, etc., are all operated by our client. Day shift Monday to Friday or 4x10s Monday to Thursday, with possible overtime.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00
