  • Responsible for airworthiness of assigned aircraft and ground control stations and works independently applying broad trade knowledge.
  • Determine the extent of adjustment or repair required on a number of major avionic systems. Service, repair, and overhaul electronic and avionic components to ensure airworthiness.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, other duties may be assigned.
  • Perform skilled work in the repair and maintenance of airframes and ground control stations.
  • Enter appropriate entries in aircraft log books.
  • Coordinate aircraft repair and maintenance performed by outside vendors.
  • Establish priorities, maintenance and inspection schedules for all aircraft, ground control stations and facilities to meet program needs and minimize downtime.
  • Coordinates the ordering of parts, supplies and materials necessary to maintain and repair aircraft and ground control stations. 
  • Assists in the pack out, setup, teardown, and recovery of the company's assets and equipment as required.
  • Assist Logistics with preparation and packing of items for shipment.
  • Read and interpret manufacturers' and company maintenance manuals, service bulletins and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing and replacing malfunctioning and/or damaged components.
  • Responsible for currency of manuals, log books and parts books.

  • Deployable 60-90 days two times a year. 
  • Must be a US citizen.
