Job Description

We are currently seeking ten Avionics Bench Technicians to join a growing Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility. Successful candidates will have 1.5 to 2 years of experience working as an avionics bench technician, performing comprehensive aircraft component services from disassembly, troubleshooting, and repair, to reassembly for return to service.

Responsibilities

• Perform cradle to grave aircraft component services, including full disassembly, troubleshooting to identify issues, overhauling, repairing, and reassembling components.
• Utilize skills in wire harness, wiring, and schematic interpretation to troubleshoot and repair avionic components.
• Work with a variety of avionic systems such as radar, antenna, transponder, ADF, transmitter, and circuit cards.
• Assemble cables, circuit cards, and complete bench-level and wire harness assemblies.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a team, demonstrating motivation and attention to detail.

Essential Skills

• 1.5-2 years of experience as an avionics bench technician.
• Proficient in reading and working from wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Experience from an MRO or 145 repair station.
• Basic hand tools for avionics bench repairs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with component troubleshooting and repair.
• Skills in soldering, wiring schematics, and wiring diagram interpretation.
• Experience with coaxial cable and electrical assembly.

Work Environment

Enjoy a 9/80 work schedule from 6 am to 3:30 pm in a backshop, clean, climate-controlled environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Miramar, FL.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
