Reporting Developer III in GAC Savannah
Unique Skills:
This is a data and analytics development role within the Gulfstream Business Technology organization for the Enterprise Reporting team. This role directly supports the suite of Gulfstream Enterprise Reporting applications. Responsible for developing requirements, solution development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise reporting solutions.
Essential Functions:
1. Direct responsibility for enterprise reporting and data analytics solution delivery across multiple technical teams.
2. Provide the solution leadership and staff mentorship for the implementation team. Delivers solution capabilities (processes, integration, data migration, and custom development) by leveraging product knowledge and expertise.
3. Determines goals, timelines, budgets, staffing requirements and allotment of applications resources.
4. Communicates performance expectations, salary administration, and conducts performance appraisals.
5. Defines the desired future state of application architecture, and documents the gaps between current and future states. Define transition plans to close the gaps.
6. Delegates tasks and/or responsibilities to team members for action according to their level of experience and assigned accountability.
7. Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
8. Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc.
9. Develops, maintains, and monitors master project schedule.
Additional Functions:
1. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities.
2. A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer.
3. Participates in design reviews for implementation projects.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
1. A minimum of six (6) years relevant business / technical experience to include three (3) years specific reporting, data analytics, or related technical development / deployment experience.
2. A Masters degree may be used to offset one (1) year of experience; PhD may offset two (2) years of experience.
3. Experience with Agile development methodology and working on an agile team preferred.
Training & Education Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering
or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience
sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

- Engages stakeholders and technology users in identifying, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
- Ensures applications processes are followed consistently and are in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, standards, etc.
- Performs normal administration tasks and system maintenance for reporting and data analytics applications and solutions.
- Documents, develops, tests, deploys, and supports reporting and data analytics development using a variety of technical tools in support of business requirements.
Additional Functions:
- Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings concerning specific projects or other activities. .
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
- Experience with Agile development methodology and working on an agile team preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (SDLC).
- Experience in conducting testing including design and execution of test cases.
- Demonstrated capability to understand data structures and create effective visualizations and reports that drive business insight and value.
- Excellent presentation design and delivery skills.
- Ability to lead/facilitate cross-functional teams and meetings.
