Join our dynamic Aviation Planning Team as a Project Coordinator, where youll play a pivotal role in supporting aviation maintenance projects. From creating project flow charts and auditing paperwork to managing booth controllers and updating customers on project timelines and materials, youll ensure tasks run smoothly and efficiently. Your ability to manage documentation, track progress, and maintain effective communication will be key in ensuring projects meet deadlines while upholding high standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

This position is onsite at our Marana and Tucson locations.

What you will do:

  • Support aviation maintenance projects by coordinating tasks while ensuring safety regulations are met.
  • Create and maintain updated project and spring planning charts.
  • Ensure project leadership is kept updated on status of critical path and constraints
  • Coordinate with stores and tooling to manage proper flow of job materials and Booth Controllers to keep team up to date.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating aviation maintenance projects to ensure timely execution.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure compliance with project goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, including work schedules, personnel assignments, and material usage.
  • Act as a liaison between maintenance teams, engineers, supervisors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure adherence to FAA, OSHA, and company safety regulations. Ensure that all work performed is done safely. Directs activities to protect employees from harm and maintain safe working conditions
  • Support inventory management, ensuring necessary tools and materials are available for maintenance operations.
  • Identify potential project risks and collaborate with management to develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare reports on project progress, budget usage, and compliance metrics.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements for better operational efficiency.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to maintain quality control and ensure best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and support of maintenance staff as needed.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to maintenance technicians to ensure works is completed on time.
  • Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and other aviation personnel to coordinate maintenance schedules.

Job Requirements:

Required –

  • Current valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.  Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.  Work with and without supervision
  • Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications such as MS Office, accurate keyboard skills, and ability to enter data at required speed.
  • Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and administrative procedures.
  • Ability to visualize and present data/information in an understandable way.

Preferred –

  • One year of data entry experience.
  • Formal computer training.
  • Experience working with project planning tools like MS, Monday.com, and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with concepts of hybrid project management, Kanban, Lean, and 5S
  • Project Management certifications, CAPM or PMP.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing or walking for extended periods of time. Requires bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, reaching to shoulder level, crouching, kneeling, and balancing. Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weight up to 75 pounds. Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision to normal range and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Equipment Operated: Ability to operate office machines, support servers,
  • 3D and Label printers, handhelds and troubleshoot problems with equipment.
  • Work Location: MIS Office, computer room, various offices/departments throughout facility.
  • Potential Hazards: Exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets
  • Work is performed in an aircraft maintenance hangar, booth or office environment.
  • Exposure to loud noises, hazardous materials, and varying weather conditions.
