We are looking for you to join our team as a Process Configuration Analyst based in Sacramento, CA

As a Process Configuration Analyst at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Plan and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met
  • Review contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes
  • Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system
  • Coordinate modification records for management control
  • Establish change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor
  • Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities

It is critical that you have a desire to learn new technologies to improve our process and integrate into the team. Knowledge of component engineering practices and standards is a plus. Independent ability to complete assignments is a must. 

Basic Qualifications for Process Configuration Analyst:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of relevant experience; or 0 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree

• Familiarity with Sharepoint, Jira, and Atlassian products

• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Demonstrated communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to understand and translate technical instructions

• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using python and other scripting languages to solve business execution problems

• Experience writing, auditing, and maintaining material and/or process specifications.

• Familiarity with MIL-STD-11991 and it’s application to missile programs, MIL-STD-1568 for corrosion prevention of Aerospace Weapons Systems, and MIL-STD-7179 Finishes, Coatings, and Sealants for the Protection of Aerospace Weapons Systems.

• Experience in the review and approval of subcontractor material / processing procedures.

• Active DOD Secret or Top-Secret clearance.

• Experience with developing automation solutions supporting the CI/CD pipeline.

• Familiarity with Nexus or other artifact management programs

• Training with formal test events and the writing of test procedures

• Light scripting in Word/Excel Macros, python, bash or other scripting language to automate and improve efficiency of tasking

• Familiarity with the Agile software development process

Salary Range: $72,100 - $108,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
