Be an integral part of improving FAR15 proposal cycle time while leading a dynamic team of sourcing professionals. This role allows you to shine using your knowledge of Honeywell systems and experience in procurement or supply chain. Are you ready for a high visibility role which enables supply chain continuity and facilitate pathways to improve proposal speed and accuracy?

In this role, you will assist existing team members with quoting, CBOM analysis and Material Cost Estimating (MCE) activities often assisting with clearing barriers. Interface with supporting groups to gain assistance, build cross-functional relationships with Compliance, Commodity Managers, Contracts, Pricing, Proposal Leaders and Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop team resource management. Lead team training, particularly spanet research, price analysis/fair and reasonable techniques.
• Assist in leading and completing large quoting, CBOM or Material Cost Estimating (MCE) efforts, interface with MPM focals often under tight timelines.
• Utilize knowledge of Honeywell systems to support spanet research.
• Build relationships with proposal teams and supporting cross-functional groups.
• Work with team and MPM group to develop responses for auditor RFIs.
• Use knowledge of Honeywell to gain alignment and support from other organizations including Commodity Managers, Contracts, Engineering, GBEs, Pricing, Proposal Operations.
• Escalation path for unresponsive suppliers, gain support from Proposal Leader, Commodity Managers to incentivize reluctant or slow to respond suppliers.
• Drive identification of FAR12 and FAR15 parts for contracting and productivity (“GCOE Disposition”).

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years’ experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Project Management, Internal/External Audit, data analysis, and/or price analysis.

• Navigating ambiguity and challenges including, but not limited to source of supply challenges, low quantity/procurements, unresponsive suppliers and ambiguous or missing information.

• Deliver compliant FAR15 packages to the US Government, work closely with the Honeywell Pricing Organization and the Government Sourcing MPM group and partner with the Honeywell Business Units to fulfill proposal support.
• Thorough knowledge of Honeywell systems (contract management AeroCMS/Leap, SAP, GCOE specific tools, ability to conduct in depth spanet research.
• Knowledge of spanet research and fair and reasonable techniques as defined by FAR15 and Honeywell GPM. Ability to write and defend selected techniques cross functionally and to customers and auditors.
• Ability to identify suppliers for tough to procure or rarely procured parts, low quantities, gaps in production, difficult to establish supply chain issues (sunset program, LTB etc.).
• Knowledge of quoting methods and process.
• Understanding of cost estimating techniques, ability to absorb unique requirements (Space).
• High degree of organizational skills and ability to execute under tight timelines.
• Maintain status of workload and escalate to Director when needed.
• Supply chain and supplier experience.
• Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industries.
