The Boeing Company is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Mid-Level Security and Fire Operations Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, TX.
The Fire Protection Operations Specialist will focus on supporting the mission to protect company people, property, and information. You will utilize standard processes, tools, and templates required to enable a compliant and robust program. The primary focus of the program is to enable effective preparation for and efficient response to emergencies and disasters to save lives and reduce property loss.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with National Aerospace Standard (NAS) 3306, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), International Fire Code (IFC), International Building Code (IBC) and other fire codes/regulations
Complete and monitor assigned facility fire inspections while documenting and tracking any fire safety deficiencies
Assist with insurance inspections related to fire protection measures
Assist with fire guidance for new-build areas or reconstruction
Assign as Training Captain, ensuring compliance with NFPA, State, Enterprise Fire Operations, and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) requirements
Develop and implement Annual Training Program with
Interface with Mutual Aid Partners in joint-training activities
Assist with contractual compliance of contracted fire protection personnel
Use advanced skills in first aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to protect executives or assigned individuals
Conduct and document complex advances, acts as detail leader or event coordinator, creates detailed after-action reports and negotiates with internal/external support personnel as well as Interfaces with Executive Council and Board of Director members
Produce outlines, subject matter, conduct research, use office applications for training purposes and identifies key equipment necessary to deliver training
Deliver training in accordance with customer requirements
Respond to emergency calls for assistance to mitigate hazardous situations
Fill in as Incident Commander in Deputy Fire Chief’s absence on complex emergencies to ensure expedient mitigation of emergencies
Complete appropriate notification and documentation for any emergency
Communicate with site security managers, Ethics, Law Department and local and federal agencies, regarding investigation results
Assist with risk assessments based on trend analysis
Define task to be performed at plant sites within established protocols and guidelines
Guide the development of information protection policies and strategic, tactical and operational planning activities for information protection program sustainability
Assist with design, development and implementation of risk management programs, processes and procedures for the protection of company people, property, information and interests
Assist with the development of risk management policies and strategic, tactical and operational planning activities for risk management program sustainability
Consult with customers and company and external organizations to recommend and propose new or alternative solutions, improvements, and enhancements
Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex questions and problems
Provide guidance and training to less experienced personnel
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with NFPA fire protective standards and implementation
3+ years of experience with site Security & Fire Operational
3+ years of experience with contract management
3+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or equivalent work or military experience
National Registry Emergency Medical Responder (NREMR)
National Registry Emergency Medical Technician Basic (NREMT-B), or TDHS EMT-Basic
National Incident Management Systems 300 / 400
3+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project
1+ years of experience with facility inspection
1+ years of experience as a fire instructor
Experience with auditing
Experience with Security & Fire Protection policies and procedures
Experience verifying and processing invoices
Experience conducting Service Level Assessment (SLA) reviews with service contractors; mutually addressing service delivery issues, lessons learned, and best practices
Experience with communicating to multiple audiences, including executive leadership
Experience with written and verbal communication and interaction in an executive environment

Summary pay range: $88,400 - $119,600
