Job Description
- This role supports continuous improvement and technology development by leveraging available and emerging data sets from our business enterprise, processes and machinery that enable delivering for our customers.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams using the Agile framework
- Drive actions to ensure the integrity and validity of data sets (machine, process and inspection data)
- Analyze data to identify insights, opportunities and relationships that support continuous improvement efforts
- Participate in cross-functional teams to solve problems and improve processes
- Create and maintain data analytics web pages and other applications for various internal customers
- Create and maintain SQL procedures and other applications that respond to data automatically
- Serve as a data analytics focal, teaching and helping others to use data analytics tools and resources
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or operations in an Engineering role with demonstrated software development skills.
- Experience with statistics, particularly in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Skilled in organization and attention to detail
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience with manufacturing processes and technology
- Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies
- Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Experience with Oracle Procedural Language for SQL (PL/SQL)
- Experience with client application programming for analytics
- Familiarity with relational database design
- Familiarity with best practices for software development, including functional testing and version control
- Familiarity with Agile product development
- Exposure to basic front-end web development
- Exposure to computer networking
- Exposure to machine and industrial controls, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
