Key Responsibilities:The role is dedicated to providing specialized support to the Inflight Training team, concentrating on the management of training media, technology applications, and platforms. This ensures adherence to regulations set forth by the FAA, TSA, DOT, and other governing bodies, as well as alignment with corporate and departmental goals. United Inflight Services employs a variety of applications and training platforms to fulfill federal training mandates. The importance of this position lies in its responsibility to guarantee that all training program criteria are successfully met.
· Business operation support, responsible for planning and organizing weekly training technical operation needs and training development multimedia productions. Ensures production schedules and technology deliverables are met.
· Inflight Training point of contact (POC) with Digital Technology (DT), Information Technology (IT), and technology and application vendors. Procures regulatory electronic and technology equipment for Inflight Training, such as iPhone (LINK) devices, iPads, laptops, and other equipment as needed. Provide training device and application expertise and knowledge to ensure student and training program success.
· Project leader, collaborates closely with the Inflight Training development team to craft compelling narratives through video and photographic content, employing a diverse range of digital video gear and adhering to industry-standard editing tools. Orchestrates and carries out a suite of video post-production activities. Takes the initiative in overcoming technical, creative, and procedural hurdles. Proactively acquires and applies the latest insights in visual media technology and methods.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or 2-3 years relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience with video production, training content creation, IT and Digital technology
- Strong experience in multimedia production and media production management.
- Strong foundational knowledge of IT and digital technology, Apple Devices (tablets and phones) including troubleshooting.
- Ability to troubleshoot common technical issues for both PC and Apple devices, including:
· Basic software troubleshooting
· Microsoft Office applications
· Email
· Internet access and connectivity issues
- Capable of providing support both remotely and in-person to ensure quick resolution of technical issues.
- Project management and design.
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Effective time management, presentation, planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under time constraints.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical software issue to ensure rapid resolution.
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends (including holidays)
- Ability to work all Inflight Training shifts between hours of 0600 – 0130; hours may vary
- Must be able to show work samples from previous projects e.g. video footage.
- Deep understanding of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques for audiovisual (AV)
- Past camera experience, proven knowledge of Sony and Nikon DSLR professional cameras, or similar.
- Proficiency on PCs, as well as with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc)
- Ability to prepare the studio set, including cameras, lighting, props, and equipment.
- Ability to input music, dialogues, graphics and effects into videos.
- Utilizes computer graphics and special effects for video post-production in accordance with the overall production concepts.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from production to post-production process.
- Results oriented, can easily identify priority items and get them done in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelors degree
- IT certifications
- Expertise preferred in video/photo editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel) Adobe Suite, (InDesign, Premiere Pro, Lightroom)
- Experience with graphic design and/or animation a plus.
