The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Modernization Programs include the Mk7 Strategic Reentry and D5 Life Extension 2 (D5LE2) Missile Program. These programs will ensure a credible strategic deterrent through the year 2084. The Modernization Strategic Planning (MSP) team leads forward-looking planning initiatives for these programs. This team provides detailed planning through Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and the Lifecycle Cost models. The MSP team ensures that the program utilizes consistent planning factors to ensure accurate cost and schedule estimation processes are utilized. The US Navy Strategic Systems Program (SSP) relies on the data provided by the IMS and cost model to submit the annual Program Managers Estimate (PME) and the Program Objective Memorandum (POM). These are critical to ensure that the D5LE2 program has a credible and executable cost and schedule baseline.

The D5LE2 Strategic Planning Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day management of the D5LE2 cost model as well as working with planning and the product IPTs to ensure the IMS and cost model scope are aligned. The strategic planning financial analyst is a highly visible and impactful role that ensures standardized estimation techniques are adhered to, running cost and schedule what-if scenarios, as well as running analysis on cost and schedule basis for ROMs and proposals submitted by the D5LE2 program. Additionally, this role will work with SSP to ensure alignment of their cost and schedule basis with Lockheed Martin, which is essential to the partnership.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM, business, management or related field of study.
• 9 years or more of professional experience (7 years of related experience with Masters degree).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Please note:

No clearance is required to apply but an Interim clearance is needed prior to start.

• Masters degree in a STEM, business, management or related field of study.
• Previous experience working with DOD customers.
• Previous program management or engineering experience.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
