Job Summary:
The Customer Support Administrator is responsible for supporting sales success by performing operational and administrative activities for assigned Regional Sales Managers and customers. This includes either pre-award or post-award activities. The Customer Support Administrator acts as a customer liaison regarding quotes, purchases, order status, data entry and maintaining files.
Essential Functions:
- Provide follow up and support to the Regional Sales Managers.
- Prepare quotations for assigned customers.
- Review, interpret and enter data into internal databases, ERP or CRM tools.
- Issue credit memos and return material authorizations.
- Provide order status to customers.
- Ensure export license compliance.
- Log sales information with few errors
- Escalate issues as needed
- Improve the sales process
- Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
Non-Essential Functions:
- Provide order acknowledgements to customers
- Manage internal reviews of Specifications, Terms and Conditions, QAPs and FARs
- Provide reports and metrics as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years of inside sales administration experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
- Knowledge: Knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor Vantage); Knowledge of MS Dynamics or similar CRM; Strong understanding of sales process and operations
- Skills/Abilities: Ability to follow department processes and work flow; Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions; Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot customer issues; Demonstrated ability to convey information and analysis clearly as needed to customers; Demonstrated outstanding organizational skills; Demonstrated ability to solve routine to moderately complex problems; Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel); Customer friendly and responsive with a view to providing customer satisfaction; Strong communication skills including phone and email
- Education/Certification: Associate’s degree
- Eligibility Requirement: This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered.
