To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Benefits Administrator. The Benefits Administrator is responsible for assisting in the administering of benefit programs with an emphasis 401(k) and health insurance. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, data driven, and a strong communicator. This position reports to the Manager, Employee Benefits.
Essential Duties:
Assist in the administering of benefit programs for all eligible team members
Serve as the internal liaison between team member(s) and provider(s)
Work to resolve benefit related issues, ensure positive employee relations, and work towards effective utilization of benefit programs
Conduct audits for 401(k), health insurance, life insurance, etc.
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
One (1) year of progressive administrative experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
Critical thinker with desire to improve efficiency
Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
Strong customer service skills
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
Workday Human Resource Information System (HRIS) experience
Employee benefits and leave of absence experience
Experience reading and understanding insurance-related documents and legal documents

Starting Rate:
$38,000.00/Annual Salary - 42,000.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
