Description:You will be a Base Operations Controller Located at our Lockheed Martin Greenville, South Carolina Facility.
Our team is responsible for manning the Operation’s desk for duration of shift; which is the base communication hub for ground operations and emergency response.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Base Operations Controller you will monitor fire and all base alarms and dispatch responders as required.
The Base Operations Controller will also perform multiple administrative functions to include; completing reports, inventory, documents, and maintaining daily shift log and operational data records with attention to detail. Is responsible for coordinating hangar utilization, fueling activities, engine operations, aircraft ground movement, support personnel and equipment requirements as needed.
Provide assistance and interact with multiple departments and a wide range of customers both internal and external. Keeps department Lead and Management fully and accurately informed concerning operational status, potential facility problems and emergency situations.
Completes additional collateral assignments. Utilizes varied communication tools to effectively communicate; electronic/digital equipment and air and ground radios.
**Candidate must be able and willing to work any shift and/or weekend as directed by operational requirements.
Candidate must have a current drivers license.

Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of applicable operations and/or dispatching experience.
- Candidate must possess a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Candidate must have experience with operations and/or aviation related instructions, policies and standard operating procedures.
- MS Office experience (Excel, Word and Access).
Desired Skills:
Aviation experience.
Air Traffic Controller experience.
Preferred candidate will possess 3 or more years of applicable operations and/or dispatching experience.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
